After seven years on the ground it was finally repaired and ready for a lift off. This took place yesterday and everything went well. The dish feels much more rigid with the new mount. Best of all, it turned out that the elevation jack screw could handle the antenna without counter weights.
Now I have to make a new foundation for my support tower, get the steering system playing and build a new feedhorn for 23 cm. So it will take some time before I make my comeback on 1296....

Trying to cut down trees around the dishes for a better window towards the west.
To the left of my right ear you may see the edge of the 8m dish, next to be lifted.

I have worked another 11 stations on 13cm, only needing Africa for WAC.
I am now QRV on 6cm with the 4m dish and during the Dubus test I managed to work 23 different stations. After the contest PA3DZL and VK3NX were added. Output from the amplifier is 48 watts and echoes are solid most times.
Here is the ODU (Out Door Unit):
DB6NT Transverter with a 10 MHz ref. from the shack, LNA with 0,8 dB NF and the SSPA built by SM6PGP.

I have now been on 13cm for little more than a year and I have worked 46 initials with my 4m dish. Last QSO was with JA4BLC, who was kind enough to supply a 2424 MHz down converter. My license will expire June 30th, 2014 and it will probably not be renewed.
So I am now preparing the 6cm rig where I will have 60 watts available.

The 26m telescope will again be used by the Swedish Westcoast Microwave Group on 1296 MHz in July, 2013. We aim for the weekend of 13-14.
This time with more power, a tracking dish and plenty of enthusiastic operators!

Since November last year I have now worked 13 initials on 13 cm with my 4m dish. My special license has been extended to June 30, 2013 and there is hope for yet another period.
I am now trying to increase power output by placing the amplifier at the feedhorn.
Look out for me on HB9Q-chat.
